Real Madrid`s Hopes Boosted Even Further
Yesterday, we ran an article whereby we covered the fact that Real Madrid`s hopes of getting into the quarter-finals had been given a massive boost.
We covered the fact that although Real Madrid had a comfortable 3-1 first-leg lead, in the last-16 knockout tie against Paris Saint-Germain, our recent form meant that we couldn`t take anything for granted.
Therefore, it was good to hear that somebody who could have been the architect of an upset, Neymar Jnr, would miss the second-leg of the tie after suffering an injury that will keep him side-lined for six-to-eight weeks.
Today, news has broken about another of the talented players on the books of Paris Saint-Germain could also miss the tie.
Yesterday, Paris Saint-Germain played Marseille in a Coupe de France semi-final, but had to play the second-half of the tie without Kylian Mbappe, although there has, as of yet, been no news of the severity of the injury suffered by the teenage French striker.
