Ramos Shock for Real Madrid

Ramos Shock for Real Madrid

After, last time out in La Liga suffering a home defeat against Barcelona, a defeat that saw Real Madrid`s hopes of retaining their La Liga crown severely hit, the last thing the club wanted was to lose on of their experienced players for a substantial period.

But that has proven to be just the case with it being announced by Zinedine Zidane, at his pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to take on Celta Vigo that Sergio Ramos has a injury that will see the Real Madrid captain side-lined for probably all the month of January with Zidane remarking,

'We lose a lot because he's our leader and our captain. We always want him with the team but these things happen.

"The season is long and we want him to recover as soon possible. Hopefully he won't be out for long.'

Could a prolonged absence for Ramos, see Real Madrid make a move for a defender in the transfer window or will they just manage the situation as it is?
