Real Madrid Interested in Prolific Liverpool Striker
Back in the summer, when the transfer window was open, Liverpool paid Roma a fee of £36.9 million for the Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah.
The transfer only raised a few eyebrows due to the fact that The English Premier League side had paid such a high price for a player who, in his previous spell in the EPL with Chelsea, had failed to produce anything of note.
However, three months into the 2017 / 2018 season and Salah has proven that Liverpool knew exactly what they were doing when they signed the 25-year-old.
Since moving to Anfield, Salah has been sensational, scoring 17 goals and providing 4 assists in his 21 appearances for the club.
Although Salah, when he joined Liverpool, put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal, it hasn`t stopped speculation emerging that he is now a genuine transfer target for Real Madrid.
According to the UK news source, The Standard, which has picked up on something in the Egyptian media source, On Sport TV, the Egyptian head-coach, Hector Cuper, has claimed that Real Madrid are interested in the player.
Could Salah be coming to the Bernabeu in the summer or is it all just wishful thinking?
