Noisy Stadiums Trouble Real Madrid Striker Target
Speculation in the media is linking Real Madrid with a move for the RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, however the deal may not happen due to an ongoing medical problem the player has.
The media source, Marca, points out that Real Madrid`s interest in Werner is borne out by the fact the striker has already netted 11 goals in 18 games this season.
However, what could be scuppering a possible deal is that Werner has trouble with his ears.
It transpires that the noise generated by the crowd in a large stadium causes him discomfort and breathing problems.
This was highlighted when he had to be substituted when RB Leipzig played Besiktas. The noise generated by the vociferous Turkish support resulted in Werner asking to be substituted as he was suffering difficulties with his hearing and his breathing.
Werner, so we`re led to believe, has been under-going investigative treatment to get to the root cause of his problem and has also resorted to wearing ear-plugs to help.
Here at Vital Real Madrid we`ll keep an eye out for any further speculation linking the player with a move to our neck of the woods and report back as deemed necessary.
