There is no Ronaldo Ramos Rift
Ahead of the Madrid derby, this Saturday evening, the Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has done his best to play down speculation of a rift between Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos.
It appears the speculation relating to a rift has come about after both players expressed different opinions about the summer transfer dealings.
Ronaldo, speaking to journalists, suggested that the club were missing some of the players who had left this summer, Morata, Pepe and Rodriguez, whilst Ramos in response, suggested he didn`t miss any one.
Stepping in to smooth over the situation, Zidane told the media ahead of the clash with Atletico Madrid,
'Things are resolved on the inside.
'I've got two players who have made history at this club. Both of them know what we're playing for and they respect each other. One of them saying one thing, and the other, another, that's for you to discuss.
'Sergio is very smart and he can say whatever he likes. The same goes for Cristiano. They're bright guys, they've been together a long time and have won a lot.
'Every now and then, for one to think one thing, and the other to say something else, it's not a problem.
'If you think there's issues between them, you're mistaken. It's part of life, and football, and if they're voicing their opinions that just shows they're alive.'
Let`s hope that is the case, we can`t have our star player and our club captain at loggerheads with each other!
