PSG Manager Quashes Neymar Jnr Leaving Rumours
Just recently, the grapevine has been alive with the suggestion that the Brazilian striker, Neymar Jnr, could be heading to Real Madrid.
Speculation had inferred that the world record transfer fee player hadn`t settled in Paris after joining the club from our Spanish rivals Barcelona.
However, it seems that those rumours have been met with short shrift by the Paris Saint-Germain manager, Unai Emery, who according to the news source, Daily Star, has remarked about the situation,
"When we took him it was with one precise goal, the club and the president want him to stay and he's going to stay here."
Emery also confessed he talks regularly with Neymar Jnr with the Paris Saint-Germain boss being quoted by our source as further remarking,
"All footballers are men before being footballers. I speak to Neymar, and it's that which is more important than rumours.
"Adapting is different for each player and more or less quick. We're doing everything to help him to adapt as well as possible.
"But the most important thing is the pitch and his performances there."
Since joining Paris Saint-Germain, 25-year-old Neymar has scored 11 times and also provided 9 assists, exactly the kind of form that makes him a viable Real Madrid target.
