Real Madrid Want Chelsea`s Eden Hazard

Real Madrid`s indifferent start to the season has seen calls to bring some fresh 'galatico` talent to the squad this summer surface.

Today, the English press, and in particular the Sunday Express, are running with the inference that Real Madrid have identified their number one target for the summer.

Our aforementioned source is of the belief that our president, Florentino Perez, has agreed that the time is now ripe to pursue the Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.

Real Madrid`s hopes of signing the 26-year-old Belgian international have been boosted by the players` own admission that he would love to play under the managerial acumen of his hero Zinedine Zidane with Hazard quoted as having remarked,

"I do not know what will happen in my career in the future. However, for sure, to play under Zidane would be a dream."

Real Madrid have been linked with the player before and with the Belgian having not put-pen-to-paper on a new deal at Chelsea, a deal that would see Hazard become the highest paid player in the Premier League, the feeling is that this summer is the time to make a serious move to end his Chelsea career and start his Real Madrid career.
