Perez Picks Kane to Replace Benzema at Real Madrid

Perez Picks Kane to Replace Benzema at Real Madrid

Speculation, albeit very hopeful in our opinion, continues to link Real Madrid with a move for the Tottenham Hotspur and England striker, Harry Kane.

The latest piece of transfer tittle-tattle, as reported by the English news source, Daily Mirror and picked up from something covered by Diario Gol, implies that Florentino Perez has ambitions of making Kane his 'galatico` signing this summer.

According to our referenced source, Perez sees Kane as the long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.

Benzema, at 29-years-of-age is five years older than Kane.

Perez has also been impressed by Kane`s continued excellent scoring form, with the Tottenham Hotspur striker already having scored 13 goals in 14 appearances, with 5 of those goals coming in the Champions League.

But, as we`ve mentioned in previous article on Vital Real Madrid covering the speculation relating to Kane, it could be a nigh on impossible task to bring the player to the Bernabeu with Kane expressing his loyalty to Tottenham and the club wanting what may be perceived as an unrealistic fee for the prolific striker.

But then again, you just never know in this crazy world of ours!
