Zidane Calm After Two Defeats on the Bounce

Zidane Calm After Two Defeats on the Bounce

Since Zinedine Zidane took charge Real Madrid have only lost back-to-back games on two occasions.

At any other club it wouldn`t be deemed to be a crisis, but the expectation levels at the Bernabeu are so much higher than everywhere else.

Ahead of the clash with Las Palmas, at the Bernabeu this evening, the Frenchman has spoken about the recent losses to Girona (La Liga) and Tottenham Hotspur (Champions League) remarking to the media,

'We need to think positively. It's not going to change anything about what we want to achieve this season.

'This is football and sometimes you have bad spells. It's nothing new, it happened to us last year and we achieved important things at the end of the season.

'We can play better, but I don't think our problem is playing badly.'

Tonight, should be the perfect opportunity for Real Madrid to get back to winning ways, our opponents are sit second from bottom in the La Liga table and have suffered six defeats on the bounce, the side from the Canaries have also not beaten Real Madrid in sixteen years.
