Real Madrid v Las Palmas - Injury Update

Real Madrid v Las Palmas - Injury Update

Tonight, Real Madrid entertain Las Palmas at the Bernabeu.

After two defeats on the bounce, Real Madrid supporters will be hoping their side can get back to winning ways.

However, once again, Zinedine Zidane will have to make do without a trio of his first team squad, Gareth Bale, Dani Carvajal and Mateo Kovacic.

Bale has been out injured since 26 September when the Welshman picked up a calf injury, whereas Carvajal has been out since September with a heart condition.

Both are back in training with Zidane remarking about the duo,

'We're happy because they have both returned to training with the group.

'Dani is fine, normal, and Gareth as well. We're happy to see them back with us, but they are not going to be in the squad.'

Out of the two it is expected that Bale will make a return to first-team duty first.

As for Mateo Kovacic, the partial adductor tear he suffered is expected to keep him side-lined until November.
