Borja Mayoral was the star man for Real Madrid as the tour of the USA ended with a penalty shootout victory over the MLS All-Stars.
Mayoral, who had put Real ahead before the All-Stars forced a shootout with an equaliser three minutes from time, thought Los Blancos 'deserved more' from the 90 minutes.
However, he told realmadrid.com victory will still enable Real to go into the UEFA Super Cup with confidence.
'We won even though it was a penalty shootout that decided it. We played really well, had many shots on goal and playing as we needed to. The team deserved more but we go into the Super Cup feeling good.'
Adding: 'When a team makes so many chances and goes unrewarded, it is perhaps because we're too rigid, but we've done a great job in the preseason, we worked tirelessly on physical play and ball work.'
Looking ahead to the Super Cup with Manchester United next week Mayoral he finished by saying Real had a 'clear aim.'
'The coach made us think right from the off that we need to be ready for the Super Cup, which is really important. We started well and with great determination.'
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo has reported Real could look to add another forward to the ranks, which isn't Kylian Mbappe, who could rival Mayoral for his place.
The top target remains Mbappe, not that his transfer, should it happen this summer, wouldn't be a world record transfer, but looking to make a backup plan it was claimed Real could look to move for Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea target Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele, 20, enjoyed a successful season at Borussia Dortmund last season and would cost significantly less and the Monaco forward.
