Real Review - Real Madrid 4-1 Sevilla
Real Madrid's La Liga season continued with a win against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Barcelona's 4-1 win at Las Palmas kept Barca top but Real Madrid's own 4-1 victory in the visit of Sevilla - arguably our toughest game - means La Liga success is firmly within our grasp. At least a point in the game in hand against Celta Vigo on Wednesday and that should be that for Los Blancos.
A controversial goal from Nacho put Real ahead on 10 minutes. Sevilla, unhappy at a freekick awarded for a foul on Alvaro Morata in the first place, were caught arguing the decision when Nacho's quickly taken effort was finished into an empty net.
Cristiano Ronaldo's tap-in had Real in control midway through the first half - this was also a landmark 400th goal for the club, no. 401 would come later.
Sevilla had hope when on-loan Inter Milan forward Stevan Jovetic - who twice hit the woodwork too - pulled a goal back after the break before Ronaldo's stunning strike wrapped up the points, Toni Kroos also got in on the goalscoring act six minutes from the end.
Real know four points from our final two games and we'll be champions whatever Barca do next weekend - it'll then be the aim to defend the Champions League in next month's Cardiff final against (soon to be) Italian champions Juventus.
