Real Review - Granada 0-4 Real Madrid

Real Madrid's La Liga season continued with a win against Granada at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes on Saturday.

Real Madrid reacted to Barcelona's win against Villarreal with a 4-0 victory at already relegated Granada to retain joint-leadership of La Liga, that game in hand will be the decisive factor.

Wholesale changes were made by Zinedine Zidane, as expected following the Champions League win over Atletico Madrid - the second leg in mind this coming week too, but it made little difference as James Rodriquez converted Lucas Vazquez cross inside the opening minutes, heading in his second a soon after.

The points were secured inside the opening 35 minutes as Alvaro Morata grabbed himself a brace, had it not been for the crossbar Lucas would have added at least one more, Real were also guilty of failing to take other chances, not that it mattered.

Victory leaves Real behind Barcelona due to the head-to-head record but Los Blancos of course have the game in hand.
