Video - Real Madrid 4-2 Bayern Munich (6-3 agg)

Real Madrid secured a win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a hat trick to take his Champions League tally to 100 goals - more importantly for Real Madrid this secured a controversial 4-2 win after extra time to see off Bayern Munich 6-3 on aggregate.

Bayern, needing to win by two clear goals, went ahead through Robert Lewandowski's penalty but Ronaldo's first had Real level - less than a minute later Sergio Ramos' own goal had the tie all-square at three-all. Arturo Vidal's dubious sending off before the 90 minutes was up left the German side playing out extra time with 10 men.

Ronaldo, from an offside position, levelled things up for Real in the extra 30 minutes before he tapped in this third for the match ball - Marcos Asensio sealed the deal with Los Blancos' fourth.
